Overview

Mera Peak (6476 m) stands proudly in the Everest region of Nepal, beckoning adventurers to partake in its challenging yet rewarding ascent. Renowned as a "trekking peak," Mera offers a manageable introduction to mountaineering in Nepal, boasting breathtaking vistas of towering giants including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyo, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga.

The journey to Mera Peak begins with a trek along its north face, a route favored by novice climbers for its relative accessibility. However, this path demands roped walking on high-altitude glaciers, equipped with crampons and ice axes, as the slope ranges from 30° to 40°. Success and safety hinge upon favorable weather and snow conditions, with the west and south faces presenting more challenging routes tailored for seasoned mountaineers.

Our meticulously crafted itinerary prioritizes acclimatization, ensuring participants adapt to the altitude gradually. Guided by experienced professionals, trekkers maintain a steady pace while staying hydrated, with adjustments made as necessary to ensure a safe and successful ascent.

We provide comprehensive support throughout the 22-day expedition, from obtaining climbing permits from the Nepal Mountaineering Association to full board accommodation and logistics in Kathmandu. Participants are advised to possess basic mountaineering skills and robust physical fitness to undertake this exhilarating journey.
